Journal of Information Systems

The Journal of Information Systems (JIS) is the academic journal of the Information Systems Section of the American Accounting Association. Its goal is to support, promote, and improve information systems and information technology research and practice. JIS publishes academic research and scholarly reports of practice advances related to information systems and information technology. The primary criterion for publication in JIS is contribution to the accounting information systems (AIS) or management information systems (MIS) literatures, broadly defined.
